`Ideal' ( despite teething snag.


Dan Glass spends most of his week on the road, ferrying equipment to concerts across the North.

Dan admits that the long-haul can sometimes take its toll.

He spent yesterday putting the Nap- Zapper to the test, and after a long bank holiday weekend, found the alarm a useful warning device against tiredness.

Setting off at 1pm to a concert in York, Dan did encounter several teething teething /teeth·ing/ (teth´ing) the entire process resulting in eruption of the teeth.

 problems. "It took a bit of getting used to. It fits behind your ear easily enough, but I didn't realise you had to change the angle for the alarm to go off. It was going off every time I glanced down to change the radio or the temperature, which was quite off-putting. Once I'd stopped and adjusted it on my ear it was fine, and after a while you forget it's there," he said.

Dan, of Stratford Road, Heaton, Newcastle Heaton is located in the east end of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, approximately 2 miles from the City Centre. It is bordered by the neighbouring areas of Benton and Cochrane Park to the north, Walkergate to the east, Byker to the south and Jesmond and Sandyford to the west. , then spent the afternoon at a York music venue. After packing his van back up and heading home to Newcastle at 9pm, the Nap-Zapper was back on his ear for the 90-minute drive.

He added: "I always make sure I'm not too tired to drive ( it's just not worth the risk. But driving up and down the motorway can be quite monotonous and you do get bored after a while. Every time my head stooped stoop 1
