`IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE' PARODY SCRAPPED BY COMEDY CENTRAL.

Just as the citizens of Bedford Falls Bedford Falls is the fictional city in Frank Capra's 1946 cinematic classic It's a Wonderful Life. It is an attractive small town in upstate New York.

The name of the town is likely a combination of actual cities and towns, Bedford Hills or Bedford (in Westchester
 never experienced life without George George, river, c.345 mi (560 km) long, rising in a lake on the Quebec-Labrador boundary, E Canada. It flows N through Indian Lake (125 sq mi/324 sq km) to Ungava Bay (an arm of Hudson Strait).  Bailey, viewers of Comedy Central will not see the cable channel's overhauled version of ``It's a Wonderful Life.''

Comedy Central was working on a one-hour production that would use the images of ``Wonderful Life'' but rewrite re·write

As both companies are owned by Viacom, Comedy Central says it decided for ``business considerations'' to scrap the project. (Don't you just hate it when you have to pay your lawyers to do battle with another set of your own lawyers?) Actually, the folks at Viacom say the decision to pull back was voluntary, with the corporate parent never getting directly involved.
