Byline: Lee Barnathan Daily News Staff Writer

Attention City Section swim schools: Granada Hills High School Granada Hills Charter High School (Granada Hills High School) is a public, charter, co-educational, secondary school consisting of students in grades 9-12. The school colors are green, black, and white.  coach Heather Mutz is offering bulletin-board fodder.

``The varsity girls will win the City championship,'' Mutz said. ``I'm not predicting. It's a guarantee. We're indestructible in·de·struc·ti·ble

Mutz has several reasons to be confident the Highlanders can win their third straight City championship.

They return the Shapiro sisters, senior Natalie and junior Stephanie. Natalie won the City 100-yard freestyle in 59.91 seconds last year and has done 57 seconds in a club meet. Stephanie won the 500 freestyle and the 200 individual medley last year and is within 15 seconds of those winning times.

The sisters also were half of the medley relay team that broke the City record with a time of 1:55.11. Natalie swam the butterfly and Stephanie handled freestyle.

The other half of that team, Kathryn Nelson (backstroke) and Sarah Clark (breaststroke) also return.

In addition, Mutz said, four freshmen have given the team added depth.

Twins Claudette and Nicollette Viray contribute in the 200 freestyle and the individual medley. Amanda Kim can swim freestyle and breaststroke, and Valerie Shapiro (another sister) is proficient at the butterfly and 500 freestyle.

``We had the Shapiro sisters (last year) and that was pretty much it,'' Mutz said. ``This year, we've got new sets of twins and two more girls.''
