`GREASE' KICKS OFF NEW SEASON FOR CANYON THEATRE GUILD.

NEWHALL - The rock `n roll classic ``Grease'' opened Friday night at the Canyon Theatre Guild Theatre Guild

``This show is so popular, we had professional-level actors, singers and dancers auditioning,'' said assistant director Bill Quinn.

``Grease'' is being staged at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 29. Shows will be added at 2 p.m. Saturdays beginning Aug. 14 and at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 22 and 29.

Tickets can be reserved by calling the guild box office at (661) 799-2702.

The Canyon Theatre Guild is at 24242 San Fernando Road San Fernando Road is a major street in the city and county of Los Angeles. It starts off in Castaic as The Old Road, passing through Santa Clarita and the Newhall Pass, where upon its intersection with Sierra Highway near the junction of the Golden State (I-5) and the , Newhall.
