`ERHC Energy Inc.', New Name for Environmental Remediation Holding Corporation.

HOUSTON -- On Feb. 4, 2005 the shareholders of Environmental Remediation Holding Corporation ("ERHC", "the Company") (OTCBB:ERHC) approved changing the name of the Company to ERHC Energy Inc. The shareholders overwhelmingly approved the Board of Directors recommendation for the name change to more accurately reflect the Company's present business activities.

In a separate vote, the shareholders also approved the proposed 2004 Compensatory Stock Option Plan.
