`ER' HELPS NBC WIN `SWEEPS'.

NBC led the six networks with an 11.6 rating and a 19 share for the week, leading its executives to declare victory during the important November ``sweeps'' period that local stations use to set ad rates.

The show drew a 25.5 rating and a 42 share, making it the highest-rated single program of the television season so far, Nielsen said. ``ER'' already has a comfortable lead as the season's most-watched program.
