What have we, the moviegoing public, done to deserve this?

A second "Deuce Bigalow" movie? Heaven help us. But then again, Rob Schneider This article is about the American actor/comedian. For the musicians, see Robert Schneider or Bob Schneider.
Robert Michael Schneider (born October 31, 1963) is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and director.
 seems to have one of those - well, for lack of a better word - "careers" that nothing can kill. Not "The Animal." Not "The Hot Chick." Nothing.

What can we expect from `Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo gig·o·lo

Never fear, however, because more wholesome entertainment options exist.

This weekend up in Junction City Junction City, city (1990 pop. 20,604), seat of Geary co., NE Kans., at the confluence of the Republican and Smoky Hill rivers; inc. 1859. The rail, trade, and processing center of an agricultural and dairy area, it grew as the supply point for nearby Fort Riley, , it's time to celebrate all things Scandinavian at the annual Scandinavian Festival. There will be aebelskivers (those yummy pancake balls) and and speke sild (pickled herring; hey, someone must like it) and any number of yummy treats in between. There also will be music, dancing, storytelling and costumed Vikings.

Then, beginning Tuesday, the Lane County Fair The Lane County Fair is an annual celebration held in Eugene, Oregon every August featuring food, music and other entertainment. It is held at the Lane County Fairgrounds.  will serve up six days of funnel cakes, cuddly critters, carnival rides, music and some impressive-looking produce.

It doesn't get more family, apple pie and America than a county fair. And even in Eugene, that Berkeley of the north, it's still quite true.

A day at the fair is a day to eat too much, wander through the animals barns - don't forget to wash your hands! - take in some regional history, stroll through the vendors' booths, enjoy a ride or two (or five or six) and listen to the talents of some fine regional and national musicians.

Now that's entertainment.
