`DIVA OF DIRT' VOWS TO PULL NO PUNCHES.Byline: Jim Skeen Daily News Staff Writer Thea Vidale Thea Vidale (born November 26, 1956, in Washington, District of Columbia, U.S.) is an African-American stand-up comedian and actress. I tell people what they need to hear,'' Vidale said. ``I tell the truth. That way no one can dispute you.'' Vidale plans to take on such topics as sex, relationships and politics. Vidale said she also plans to dish the dirt Verb 1. dish the dirt - wag one's tongue; speak about others and reveal secrets or intimacies; "She won't dish the dirt" gossip talk, speak - exchange thoughts; talk with; "We often talk business"; "Actions talk louder than words" on Kathy Lee Gifford and Whitney Houston. ``I've got something for everybody but children. Don't bring your children,'' Vidale said. Vidale will be performing at 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday at Louisiana Hots, 2728 E. Palmdale Blvd. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased in advance at Louisiana Hots after 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. ``Tell them I'm single and on the prowl,'' Vidale said of her Palmdale show. ``Tell all the single people to come on out, especially if you're six feet and over and got a job and don't live at home.'' Vidale is perhaps best known from her short-lived ABC ABC in full American Broadcasting Co. Major U.S. television network. It began when the expanding national radio network NBC split into the separate Red and Blue networks in 1928. sitcom ``Thea,'' which now runs on the BET cable channel. More recently, Vidale guest starred on ABC's ``Ellen.'' Vidale, a former Pasadena, Texas, waitress, started performing about 10 years ago when customers at the restaurant where she worked urged her to go on stage at a local comedy club's amateur night. Vidale's career includes appearances on HBO's ``Def Comedy Jam'' and Rodney Dangerfield's HBO Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) A form of oxygen therapy in which the patient breathes oxygen in a pressurized chamber.
