`Canon Equipment Donation Program' Established to Support Charities Nationwide.

Canon is launching the first phase of an impressive product donation program designed to benefit and support organizations with 501 C3 charity status.

The Canon Equipment Donation Program offers charity organizations an opportunity to receive completely warranteed Canon products such as office equipment and cameras to use in the day-to-day operation of the organization or community programs established through each organization.

During the first phase of the Canon Equipment Donation Program, two products will be offered to qualified organizations: the Canon StarWriter JET 4000 and StarWriter JET 300 word processors.

Any charity organization with a 501 C3 status is eligible to participate in the Canon Equipment Donation Program. Based on the specific needs or programs established through each organization, there is virtually no limit to the number of products an organization can request.

To apply for Canon products through the program, qualified organizations should send no more than a 3-page letter on their official stationary and include the following information:

-- The legal name of the organization

-- The purpose or activity in which the product will be used

-- Quantity of specified product(s) with explanation for quantity

requested

-- The geographic area the organization serves

-- Contact person, telephone and fax numbers

-- 501 C3 charter number

All requests must be postmarked no later than Thursday, Dec. 10.
