`Businessman of the Year' Appointed President of Sanswire Technologies.

Sanswire Technologies, Inc., (OTC: SNWR) a worldwide leader in the provision of high-speed, wireless Internet service, announced today that Jairo Rivera has been named President of the Company.

Mr. Rivera takes over the position formally held by Michael K. Molen and will be responsible for running the Company on a daily basis. Mr. Molen will remain Chairman of the Company and concentrate on the Company's vision, which includes various acquisitions that will expedite Sanswire's build-out of their National wireless network.

Mr. Rivera was elevated to the position after serving the past three years as President of Sanswire's Latin American Operations. The move comes within weeks of Mr. Rivera being named "Businessman of the Year" by the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Rivera is an economist who obtained his MBA with concentration in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Kennesaw State University and has more than twelve years of economic experience in the pharmaceutical, textile, oil, and hospitality industries. Mr. Rivera is a member of the Company's Board of Directors and has been a board member in various other national and regional business associations. He has been involved in philanthropic activities through the Rotary Club, of which he is a former Vice-President.
