Coldplay's new album, "X&Y," will be released by Capitol Records Capitol Records is a major United States-based record label, owned by EMI, located in Hollywood, California. Its headquarters building, the Capitol Tower, is a major landmark near the corner of Hollywood and Vine.  on June 7th; "Speed of Sound," the first single, will be released worldwide on April 18th.

The luminous follow up to the band's Grammy-winning, triple Platinum 2002 release "A Rush Of Blood To The Head," "X&Y" was produced by Coldplay, Danton Supple and Ken Nelson.

Coldplay will headline the first day of the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, CA on Saturday, April 30th. Following the release of "X&Y," Coldplay will embark on their biggest world tour yet, beginning with dates in Europe, the UK and Ireland. Plans are in the works for a 40-city North American tour, which will commence in late July and continue through late September.

Buckland was born in London, England, and lived there until the age of four, when his family moved to Pantymwyn, North Wales.

Christopher Anthony John Martin (born March 2, 1977) is the lead singer, pianist and occasional rhythm guitarist of the popular rock band Coldplay.

New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 Times as "one of the year's best albums," received four star reviews from Rolling Stone and Blender and landed Coldplay on the cover of Spin as 2003's "Band of the Year." The single "Clocks" was released in 2003, bringing Coldplay its fourth Grammy -- this time in the prestigious Record of the Year category. To date, Coldplay has sold over 16 million albums worldwide.
