``Who Wants to be a Movie Star?'' Gives ``Big Break'' to Unknowns From Across the Country; Principal Photography Begins Today.

The cast of Hollywood's first independent feature film in which all roles were auctioned online, "Who Wants To Be A Movie Star?," were revealed today by the project's producer and director, Tony Markes.

Bids ranged from $12,000 to $72,000. Approximately $500,000 raised from the auctions is being used for the film's production budget. The project, which begins principal photography today in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. , is a unique collaboration between Blockbuster Inc., Yahoo!(R) Auctions, MP3.com, DNA Studio DNA Studio (standing for Dedicated Net Access) is a Los Angeles-based Web marketing advertising agency founded in 1994 by John Moshay, Chris Gibbin and Josh Mutchnick (brother of Max Mutchnick). , The Lewis Horwitz Organization, The Motion Picture Bond Co. and The Skouras Agency.

The script, written by Doug Stuart ("Ticket To Paradise"), is based on the personalities of this cast of "characters." Ranging in age from 8 to 63, the cast is composed of an international model, a fire fighter, an oracle, a former P.K.A. U.S. Super Heavyweight super heavyweight
