It was from this thought that he envisioned the interfaith Walk for Hope: an 11K walk so inspirational that it will change the lives of those participating, as well as those being benefited. Walk for Hope expects more than 1,000 walkers supported by 150 volunteers. The goal is to inspire and excite every individual that comes to Bolsa Chica State Beach that Sunday. The entire 11K route will contain inspirational quotes and images, speakers, live entertainment and activity booths. "Imagine a painting of the Twin Towers, followed by quotes by Martin Luther King Jr. Envision candles being lit in the memory of firefighters. It will not only be an 11K walk -- it will be a Journey into Kindness," said volunteer Simoina Dargan. Food, live performances, activities and other organizations will promote a fun, family-oriented environment at the Walk for Hope.
