``The Machine'' Becomes the Rage: Multi-Media Entertainment Company Launches with a Mission to Accentuate the Positive.


LOS ANGELES Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  -- Can music that imparts a positive message to the world still be considered cutting edge? Get ready for a definitive "yes" to this question, as The Machine literally becomes the next rage.

The Machine Productions (TMP TMP (thymidine monophosphate): see thymine. ) firmly believes that solid values can be imparted to the masses without compromising commercial appeal.

Machine Records is launching this year with three amazing artists: Wreckloose, 2Five and Swirl. Wreckloose is a dynamic groundbreaking trio that brings back the soulful sounds of the 60's and 70's and combines it with the rhyme and poetry of Hip-Hop. Their debut album, "Shake It Apart," is due in late July.

2Five, aka The Hood Reverend, is a Christian artist who seeks to usher in Verb 1. usher in - be a precursor of; "The fall of the Berlin Wall ushered in the post-Cold War period"

Swirl is a well-established group currently experiencing a revitalized career thanks to Rhonda Bedikian, their publisher who is also VP of Publishing and Licensing for The Machine. Swirl's new project is due in October.

The Machine also has two other record labels, The Groove (a legacy imprint which will feature releases from soul stars of the 70s and 80s) and Well-Oiled Records, a contemporary jazz and jazz fusion Jazz fusion (or "jazz-rock fusion" or "fusion") is a musical genre that merges elements of jazz with other styles of music, particularly pop, rock, folk, reggae, funk, metal, country, R&B, hip hop, electronic music and world music.  label.

The Machine's television division is currently developing Hip Hop Church America, a vibrant and uplifting, one-hour weekly program billed as "not your parent's church service." The show is the vision of Kurtis Blow, a legendary pioneer of rap music who helped launch the genre into the mainstream.

Each of the principals involved in the creation and running of The Machine have backgrounds in business and the music industry.
