"The Definitive Elvis," the largest and most comprehensive collection of interviews, photos and clips ever assembled on the life of Elvis Presley, will be released by Passport International Productions on August 13th. The 8 DVD DVD: see digital versatile disc.

 collection consists of 16 one-hour episodes including interviews with over 200 of Elvis' friends, celebrities, and lovers and commemorates the 25th anniversary of Elvis' death on August 16, 1977.

A 2-CD spoken-word set titled "Elvis...In His Own Words," featuring Elvis in his early years on the road, in the army, in the studio, on location and through his commentary during his Vegas years will also be released by Passport as a companion piece on the same day.
