Records. Company history Reprise was formed in 1958 by Frank Sinatra in order to allow more artistic freedom for his own recordings. . The album features the anthemic single "Where Do We Go" and is the long-awaited follow-up to the band's platinum-plus selling 1999 release, "Title Of Record," that spawned such hits as "Take A Picture" and "Welcome To The Fold." "The Amalgamut" was recorded over a twelve-month period at Abyssinian Sons, the Chicago studio built by Filter founder and frontman front·man n. 1. also front man A man who serves as a nominal leader but who lacks real authority. 2. The multi-faceted music of "The Amalgamut" spotlights an increased creative role from all three band members originally recruited by Richard Patrick, including drummer Steve Gillis, bassist Frank Cavanagh and guitarist Geno Lenardo Geno Lenardo is the guitar player for the band Filter. As of recently, he has filled the bass position for the hard rock band Chevelle for their summer tour. On a side note, he also produced Chevelle's "The Clincher (Version 103)" for the dual-disc portion of their third studio , who co-wrote several tracks with Patrick, including the hard rockin' selection "You Walk Away" and "My Long Walk To Jail."
