WHAT: A screening by the Film Society of the Art Directors Guild of
Warner Bros/Castle Rock's high-profile "POLAR EXPRESS," directed by
Robert Zemeckis and starring Tom Hanks, preceded by a one-hour
in-depth explanation and demonstration by the film's Production
Designers Rick Carter and Doug Chang of the revolutionary creative
design process involved in this film's innovative Computer Generated
Imagery that mixes CGI with live acting performances in a digital
domain. Following the screening there will be a one-hour Q&A with
Carter and Chang conducted by Film Society Chair Linda Berger.
