``Music From The OC Mix 1'': Songs From Groundbreaking Series On Special Enhanced CD.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 2004

"The OC," the phenomenally successful Fox Television series, has pioneered the creative use of storytelling through song and, in the process, become a showcase for some of the most innovative and original artists in modern music.

Now the spirit and style of "The OC" has been captured on "Music From The OC Mix 1," set for release on Warner Bros. Records Warner Bros. Records Inc. is an American record label that operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Warner Music Group. It is internationally known as WEA International Inc. , March 30th.

A collection of a dozen key tracks from current and previous episodes of "The OC," the compilation highlights the program's trend-setting approach to music with songs from an extraordinary variety of new and emerging artists.

Additionally, "Music From The OC Mix 1" also features special enhancements, including CD-only access to a "Music From The OC" web page, where the specific scene in which many of the tracks that were used can be viewed. The first of an ongoing series of memorable musical moments from "The OC," the collection will be followed by Mix 2, 3 and 4 in the year ahead. Also planned will be special edition compilations.
