"LAPD: Protect and Serve, or Law & Disorder?" will be the topic at the inaugural KRLA Talk 1110 Community Forum this Wednesday morning, Oct.6, at the Museum of Television and Radio in Beverly Hills.

The forum will be broadcast live over KRLA Talk 1110 AM during The Michael Jackson Show from 9 a.m. to noon, with the veteran Los Angeles radio host also serving as moderator.

Scheduled guests include leading local law enforcement officials including LAPD Chief Bernard Parks and Los Angeles County District Attorney Gil Garcetti.

Also scheduled to contribute to the dialog are the Executive Director of the Southern California chapter of the ACLU, Ramona Ripston; the Director of the Police Protective League, Ted Hunt; Police Protective League officer Dennis Zine; USC Professor of Law Erwin Chemerinsky, who also sat on the LAPD Charter Reform Commission; plus noted author and columnist Earl Ofari Hutchinson; Los Angeles Councilwoman Laura Chick; Los Angeles City Attorney James Hahn; and more.

The KRLA Talk 1110 Community Forum will provide information and insight from both inside and outside the Los Angeles Police Department, so listeners can decide for themselves the depth and scope of corruption in the department, some of which has recently been revealed within the Rampart division.
