``Garth Brooks: Coast to Coast Live'' Continues; Brooks Prepares for Concert On USS Enterprise; Second of Three, One-Hour Concert Specials to be Broadcast Live November 21 On CBS.

Garth Brooks is traveling to Norfolk, VA, where he will perform for the men and women of the USS Enterprise

USS Enterprise is the name of a number of ships from the United States Navy. It is also the name of a number of ships from the fictional Star Trek universe.
 and the Enterprise Battle Group. The concert, which will take place on the aircraft carrier on Wednesday, is both a welcome home and a Thanksgiving celebration for the crew, who recently returned from carrying out missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. The concert will be televised live on CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast.  (10:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) as the second of three concert specials in the "Garth Brooks: Coast to Coast Live" series.

"Ever since September 11, I've tried to figure out my role as an entertainer in helping our country through these difficult times," said Brooks. "When someone mentioned an aircraft carrier and actually playing for our servicemen and women, the day before Thanksgiving, it was a no-brainer. It'll make me feel like I'm contributing in a small way to the country's healing process."

Brooks' father, Raymond Brooks, will also be on hand for the concert, and being on a carrier will be familiar to him. He served as a Marine on the carrier USS Yorktown United States naval vessels
