``FOX Sports College Hoops '99'' Predicts the Final Four in Topsy-Turvy NCAA Tournament.

Action-Packed Video Game Says Duke, Connecticut, Michigan State

and Maryland Are Poised for Showdown in St. Petersburg

The big upsets from little upstart schools that have marked the 1999 NCAA Tournament NCAA Tournament can mean:

Men's Sports
  • NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship, the most common usage of this term
  • NCAA Men's Division II Basketball Championship
  • NCAA Men's Division III Basketball Championship

Maryland, seeded No. 2 in the South Region, was the only non- No. 1 seed predicted to advance; the Terrapins also had the toughest time making the Final Four in "FOX Sports College Hoops '99," having to overcome a hot St. John's team as well as upset No. 1 seed Auburn.

As for the others: Duke breezed over No. 6 seed Temple in the East Region final; UConn had a scare from No. 5 seed Iowa in the Sweet 16, then trounced No. 6 Florida in the "Elite 8" to take the West Region; and Michigan State crushed No. 13 seed Oklahoma in the Midwest Region, then were tested by No. 3 seed Kentucky before emerging victorious.

"FOX Sports College Hoops '99" is the first and only college- sports title for the Nintendo 64 game system. With a complete NCAA college-basketball license, "FOX Sports College Hoops '99" has an authentic look and feel -- including 120 real colleges, logos, home and away uniforms, and team styles of play.
