``FC Fox'' Highlights Emerging Sport of Soccer Tennis; Members of the New WPSL Team, the Long Island Fury, Prepare for Inaugural Season.


LOS ANGELES Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  -- On Friday, "FC Fox" will introduce the world to the unique new sport of Soccer Tennis, a sport that highlights soccer skills on a tennis court. In addition to showing off this amazing new sport through the eyes of ballboys, "FC Fox" will also talk with the talented members of the recently founded WPSL WPSL Women's Premier Soccer League
WPSL Women's Pro Softball League
 team, the Long Island Fury, to show why these ladies are so revved up and ready to hit the grass running.

"FC Fox" continues last week's feature on Nike's Joga Bonito Joga Bonito (which means 'Play Beautiful ' in Portuguese) is a football-oriented social network service created by Nike and Google, based upon Google's orkut. Joga TV commercial advertisements are shown on the nikefootball.com website, the joga.  by examining what makes Joga Bonito such a success, while players discuss exactly what makes futsal so different from full-on soccer. In the 7th episode of "FC Fox," the crew will also show just how Chivas USA's Head Coach Bob Bradley

WHAT:    "FC Fox," a new weekly series dedicated to American youth and
         amateur soccer, exclusively on Fox Soccer Channel.

WHO:     Hosted by Ethan Zohn, who came to national prominence as the
         winner of "Survivor: Africa" and is the co-founder of
         Grassroot Soccer, "FC Fox" also features expert tips on
         technique and play-making from U.S. Women's National Team
         standout and audience favorite Heather Mitts.  Christopher
         Sullivan, formerly of the U.S. Men's National Team, lends his
         expertise on training and conditioning, while Ryan McDonough
         brings his 'man-on-the-street' take on the soccer world.

WHEN:    Friday nights at 7:30 p.m. (ET); repeats Sundays at
         9:30 p.m. (ET).
