``Entertaining Healthy'' Films First Episode.

On July 2 at 10 a.m., the Hollywood Farmers' Market will serve as location for the filming of the premiere episode of "Entertaining Healthy," an episodic cooking show based on a unique concept of preparing fast, delicious and healthy foods through comedy and laughter.

"Entertaining Healthy's" creator, Linda Rose Cherney, a Los Angeles-based performer, comedienne and passionate cook, maintains a lifelong commitment to healthy food and has been shopping at the Hollywood Farmers' Market since its "premiere" in 1991. Having overcome various illnesses herself through healthy foods, Cherney believes, "Eating for optimum health doesn't have to be tasteless and boring."

"Entertaining Healthy" will offer savory recipes, nutritional facts and even tips on shopping. "Of course it's impossible not to get the freshest and best of everything at the Hollywood Farmers' Market," says Cherney, "because every vendor offers excellent products, from produce to specialty breads and even seafood." After Cherney moves through the Hollywood Farmers' Market, chatting and interacting with Market vendors and shopping as she does every Sunday, she'll prepare several healthful and delicious dishes she'll then serve up to Market shoppers and staff.

No stranger to a live audience, Cherney has been a fresh force in American humor since 1980. She has appeared at such venues as The Improv in Los Angeles, The Upfront Comedy Theatre in Santa Monica, and The Comedy Store in Hollywood. Cherney's culinary skills began in her mother's large Italian kitchen in Miami, where food was the centerpiece of family life. "There has always been a connection between kitchens and laughter for me," says Cherney. "And food is the ultimate expression of love. And you can't get fresher, better, more healthful food than at the Hollywood Farmers' Market, which is another big love of mine!"
