``Destination:Alaska'' Feature Debuts on Princess.Com; New Section Offers Industry's Most Comprehensive Online Information About the Wonders of Travel to the ``Great Land''.

Princess' award-winning website, www.princess.com, has debuted another industry first with the addition of a new "Destination:Alaska" section. The most comprehensive web tool of its kind in the cruise industry, the new section walks users through a specialized resource full of information about what makes Alaska such a spectacular vacation experience, as well as highlights of Princess' many cruise and cruisetour options in the "Great Land."

The phrases panoramic tour and virtual tour are often used to describe a variety of video and photographic based media. The word panorama indicates an unbroken view, so essentially, a panorama in that respect could be either a series of photographs or panning video
 featuring more than 65 dramatic 360-degree photos, and dozens of pages of informative facts and lush photos, Destination:Alaska launches as a unique tool for planning an Alaska land/sea vacation.

The new web feature offers three main sections -- Alaskan Experience, Alaska Cruisetours and Alaska Cruises.

In the Alaskan Experience section, users will find information about Glaciers This is a list of glaciers.

Due to somewhat sparse information, some glaciers, especially those in the tropics, may no longer exist as listed. This is especially true for glaciers in Africa and New Guinea.

Cruisetour listings are divided into four categories -- Heart of Alaska, Alaska Wilderness/Kenai, Alaska Wilderness/Copper River, and Alaska Wilderness/Explorer -- to help potential guests determine the very best vacation choice. Within each category they can determine at a glance which wilderness lodges are featured on each route and highlights of the areas visited.
