``Click-N-Ship'' Online Package Shipping Highlighted During Week of March 22.

Click. Print. Ship. Shipping packages from home or office online will be the focus of the U.S. Postal Service's "Click-N-Ship Week," which begins March 22. Two demonstrations are scheduled for Tuesday, March 23, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The Postal Service is conducting a nationwide awareness campaign targeted to home and small business owners with the message: mailing packages has never been more convenient. Click-N-Ship has been used more than 8 million times so far.

Click-N-Ship will calculate rates, find ZIP Codes, standardize and save addresses, and store shipping history information. It prints mailing labels with postage -- or without postage for no fee. It also offers free Delivery Confirmation or Signature Confirmation as an option. Free shipping boxes for Priority Mail and Express Mail may also be ordered.

What about the actual mailing? Click-N-Ship saves mailers more than money -- it saves time. Domestic packages with a return address that are prepaid with online postage can be dropped into a collection box or left at the Post Office. Mailers can also call ahead for free Carrier Pickup, available on over 100,000 carrier routes.

Click-N-Ship service is available for Priority Mail, Express Mail, Global Express Mail and Global Express Guaranteed.

Business Service Network Manager Ken Boyd said that Click-N-Ship demonstrations will be held at two Business Solutions Centers. One is located at the San Diego Main Post Office, 2535 Midway Drive, and the other at the Temecula Post Office, 30777 Rancho California Rd. Both demonstrations will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
