``Capitol Update'' Television Show Re-Caps Daily Legislative News From Tallahassee on Sunshine Network.

Half-hour legislative news program airs 10:00 a.m. Monday-Thursday

and 7:30 a.m. Friday throughout Florida on

Sunshine Network beginning March 4

For the sixth consecutive year, Sunshine Network will distribute Capitol

Capitol, seat of the U.S. government at Washington, D.C. It is the city's dominating monument, built on an elevated site that was chosen by George Washington in consultation with Major Pierre L'Enfant. The building as it now stands took many years to build and is the result of the work of several architects.
 Update to its statewide television audience, providing Floridians with a daily re-cap of all the important legislative news from Tallahassee.

In partnership with the Florida Channel, each half-hour daily edition of Capitol Update will air statewide on Sunshine Network at 10:00 a.m. Monday-Thursday and 7:30 a.m. on Friday during the regular session of the Florida Legislature. The program premieres Tuesday, March 4, 2003 and concludes on the scheduled last day of the legislative session.

Capitol Update will analyze the previous day's most significant legislative developments, offering viewers clear, concise reports on the impact of bills being debated by members of the Florida House and Senate. While Capitol Update is designed to move at a faster pace than most legislative coverage, there will be opportunities for in-depth understanding through reports on topics relevant to all citizens of Florida. The key elements of the program include a pace close to a commercial newscast, the use of brief and carefully edited video packages, reports and the increased use of graphics -- all elements that have made Capitol Update a welcome component to statewide media coverage of the Florida Legislature.
