Sunshine Network

For the third straight year Sunshine Network will serve as the anchor distributor for Capitol Capitol, seat of the U.S. Congress
Capitol, seat of the U.S. government at Washington, D.C. It is the city's dominating monument, built on an elevated site that was chosen by George Washington in consultation with Major Pierre L'Enfant.

Capitol Update is a live half-hour program carrying the latest in legislative news and airing statewide on Sunshine Network at 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday during the regular session of the Florida Legislature The Florida Legislature is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Florida. The Florida Constitution mandates a bicameral state legislature with an upper house Florida Senate of 40 members and a lower Florida House of Representatives of 120 members. . The program premieres Tuesday, March 7 and concludes on the scheduled last day of the legislative session on May 5.

Working in partnership with the Florida Channel, Sunshine Network will distribute the program to its 5 million cable subscribers in 165 cities in Florida The following is a list of incorporated cities in Florida. At the top is a list of the ten largest cities, followed by the complete list of incorporated cities arranged in alphabetical order. .

While Capitol Update is designed to move at a faster pace than most legislative coverage, there will be opportunities for in-depth understanding through reports on topics relevant to all citizens of Florida. The key elements of the program include a pace close to a commercial newscast newscast
