``Boston Public'' Kicks Off Ad Council, US Army and Mediascope ``Operation Graduation''.

LOS ANGELES--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2001

Writers, producers and cast members of David E. Kelley's newest hit series, "Boston Public," will help kick off "Operation Graduation," a multi-agency campaign to reduce high school dropout (1) On magnetic media, a bit that has lost its strength due to a surface defect or recording malfunction. Organized by Mediascope, in concert with the Ad Council and the US Army, the Jan. 23 event introduces a media campaign to inspire dialogue among writers and producers of popular television about the cultural and social issues surrounding the high school dropout problem, and how those in the entertainment industry can make a difference. Drop-out risk factors include drugs, teen pregnancy, poverty, language barriers, gangs and violence.

The kick-off event will present a panel discussion featuring principle cast members of "Boston Public," Fyvush Finkel Fyvush Finkel (born October 9, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American actor.
