NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 20, 2000

iTurf Inc. (Nasdaq: TURF), the leading online proprietary teen network, announced today that for the first time, in February, it surpassed the MTV MTV
 in full Music Television

U.S. cable television network, established in 1980 to present videos of musicians and singers performing new rock music. MTV won a wide following among rock-music fans worldwide and greatly affected the popular-music business.

Additionally, iTurf's audience numbers position the network as the dominant player in the proprietary teen-focused content and community space with unique traffic that is five times the traffic of its nearest direct competitors, Bolt, Inc. and Alloy Online, Inc. The iTurf network now reaches over 3.5% of the total active online audience.
