Zany Brainy, Inc., (Nasdaq National Market: ZANY), America's fastest-growing multimedia superstore for kids, celebrates the season with a special "Gift of Giving" program by making a $10,000 donation to Toys For Tots. As part of this program on Tuesday, December 14, at 4 p.m., kids will go shopping with dollars donated by customers, to pick out the season's best educational toys for the Toys for Tots campaign. All of Zany Brainy's 103 stores in 26 states nationwide are participating in the program.

There are three parts to the Company's holiday program this year: -- Zany Brainy proudly supports the annual Toys for Tots campaign

sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps, by donating $100 worth of

toys from each of the 103 stores for a total of more than

$10,000. -- In addition, from December 1 through 8, customers fill out a Shop

for Tots coupon and make donations at Zany Brainy cash registers

that will be used to buy even more toys for children in need. Kid

customers ages 6 and up are invited to arrive December 14 at 4 PM

at their nearest Zany Brainy store, at which time names will be

randomly drawn from 103 Super Shoppers who will purchase toys

with the donated money. Using our handy dandy Solar Calculator 

Cash Registers and the help of our store KIDsultants, these

little shoppers in 103 stores will pluck from our shelves the

best educational toys. -- Zany Brainy's KIDsultants, corporate office and distribution

center will also participate by donating money to their store's

collections from customers.

The "Gift of Giving" program is part of an ongoing relationship between Zany Brainy and Toys for Tots. In October, Zany Brainy hosted 100-second shopping sprees in 12 stores around the country to celebrate the grand opening of Zany Brainy's 100th store. After the 12 young winners of the sprees raced through the stores grabbing toys and other merchandise, duplicate sets were donated to Toys for Tots. The total donations to Toys for Tots were valued at more than $7,600.
