The new company is a joint venture of The Siman Group of Miami and Gulf States Paper Corporation of Tuscaloosa, Ala. The Siman Group, which was founded in 1938, will be the managing partner and majority owner of Siman Packaging. Gulf States, a 115-year-old packaging and forest products company, will provide manufacturing facilities in Waco, Texas.
