[2] ST Systems' Shares to Trade in Canadian Dollars; New Trading Symbol SYT .

ST Systems Corp. today announced that, effective January 4, 2000, the Company's shares will cease trading in US dollars and begin trading in Canadian dollars Noun 1. Canadian dollar - the basic unit of money in Canada; "the Canadian dollar has the image of loon on one side of the coin"

.U" to "SYT", also effective January 4. These changes are in response to investor confusion created by ST's unusual symbol, which denotes US currency, and the assumption that a stock listed on a Canadian exchange would trade in Canadian dollars.

Reporting of financial results will also shift to Canadian dollars for the first quarter of 2000 (the three months ending March 31, 2000). However, ST will report its 1999 full-year and fourth-quarter results in US dollars for consistency with the earlier quarters of 1999.
