SEATTLE--(ENTERTAIMENT WIRE)--Nov. 2, 1999--

MountainZone.com, the premier mountain sports web site, featuring content, community and commerce is a sponsor of this week's Banff Mountain Film Festival.

The 24-year film festival features the world's best mountain films and videos. This year's finalists were selected from 138 entries representing 22 countries. MountainZone.com is the title sponsor of the "Best Film on Mountain Sports." Once the winner is chosen, a clip and a behind the scenes look at the movie will be available on MountainZone.com's Banff Mountain Film Festival site. Visitors can also watch clips from the Festivals other winning films.

The page, titled Film Guide 2k, features stories and clips of films made by up and coming filmmakers, such as Teton Gravity Research and ski movie icons, such as Warren Miller There are several people of note named Warren Miller, including

 Entertainment. Coverage of the Banff Mountain Film Festival will headline the page throughout its run. Visitors will be able to view clips in both RealPlayer or Windows Media formats Windows Media formats are supported in many software and hardware-based players as well as Microsoft's own software-based Windows Media Player. The foundation container format for Windows Media is the Advanced Systems Format (ASF) file, which holds audio, video, meta-data (titles, author, .
