[2] Fox Interactive Names PC Marketing Executive, Karly Young, to Director of Brand Marketing.


LOS ANGELES--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Dec. 15, 1999--

Fox Interactive today announced it has named former NovaLogic marketing executive Karly Young as director of brand marketing.

Young will be responsible for the product marketing of Fox Interactive's PC lineup, as well as the overall growth of the Fox Interactive brand. She will report directly to Dave Shaw, executive director of Worldwide Brand Marketing.

"Karly brings an extensive background in product-specific branding and will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow the Fox Interactive PC brand," said Shaw.

"We look forward to benefiting from her creativity and experience as she helps us chart our strategic development with our upcoming PC titles, such as 'Sanity' and 'World's Scariest Police Chases.'"

Previously, Young was the director of marketing at NovaLogic where she was responsible for overseeing the launch of numerous PC franchises including: "Delta Force," "Comanche" and "F-22 Lightning." She also played an essential role in launching NovaWorld, the dedicated online gaming See gaming.  service for NovaLogic.

Prior to her position at NovaLogic, Young was the marketing manager for Trimark Pictures Trimark Pictures Inc., was a production company formed by Mark Amin in 1985 and was the parent company of Trimark Holdings Inc. Formerly Vidmark Entertainment, Trimark Pictures specialized as a small studio, producing and distributing theatrical, independent, television and home , where she was responsible for marketing Trimark's Home Video releases and Trimark Interactive software products. Young's interactive marketing experience also includes positions at Davidson & Associates (Havas Software) and Baker & Taylor Entertainment.
