NEW YORK--(BW SportsWire)--November 6, 2000

ESPNdeportes.com, (www.espndeportes.com), a Spanish-language sports site produced by ESPN Internet Group serving the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic communities, has launched, delivering original sports content for Internet uses in those markets while leveraging the relevant content and resources of ESPN.com and ESPN's domestic and international cable channels.

ESPNdeportes.com will cover Latin and European soccer, the NFL, NBA and South American basketball, Major League, Mexican and Caribbean Winter League Baseball, motor sports including CART and Formula One, tennis, golf and more. ESPN Internet Group is part of Walt Disney Internet Group (NYSE:DIG).
