MEDIA ADVISORY

NEW JERSEY DEVILS The New Jersey Devils are a professional ice hockey team based in Newark, New Jersey. They are members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Devils have won the Stanley Cup three times, in 1995, 2000, and 2003.  CENTER, SCOTT GOMEZ Scott Gomez (born December 23, 1979, in Anchorage, Alaska) is an American professional ice hockey player of both Mexican and Colombian descent. He plays the position of center for the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League.  AND LEFT WING JAY PANDOLFO Jay Pandolfo (b. December 27 1974, Winchester, Massachusetts) is an American ice hockey forward who currently plays for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.

AT BARNES & NOBLE WEST PATTERSON STORE

EVENT: New Jersey Devils' center, Scott Gomez and Jay
Pandolfo, will sign copies of Total Hockey: The Official
Encyclopedia of the National Hockey League, at the Barnes
& Noble West Paterson store, Monday, November 6th from
           7:30-8:30p.m., located at 1156 Route 46 West.

Scott Gomez, a gifted playmaker, is the first Hispanic
player to compete in the NHL. He has exceptional vision on
the ice and twice has represented the United States in the
           World Junior Championships.

Jay Pandolfo, who plays left wing, is a quiet, underrated
player, typical of the forwards who comes through the New
Jersey system. He is well schooled defensively and has a
scoring touch as evidenced by the 14 goals he notched as a
           rookie in1998-99.

Total Hockey, edited by Dan Diamond, James Duplacey, Ralph
Dinger, Ernie Fitzsimmons and Eric Zweig is the most
complete hockey reference ever published, containing every
conceivable piece of information about the game, from a
complete NHL player register of more than 5,000, detailed
timelines, the history of women's hockey, essays on the
evolution of on-ice strategy, cross-era comparisons and
           more.
