Supermarket Industry Promotion

Visa will conduct a nationwide promotion in supermarkets beginning September 1, 2000. Consumers who use their Visa card in any supermarket in the nation will be automatically entered to win a trip to Super Bowl XXXV or one of forty $500 Visa NFL gift cards. The promotion will run through November 8, 2000. Promotional support will be given through point-of-sale signage, free-standing inserts in local Sunday papers, and in-store displays.

The Kroger Corporation will extend this promotion with a separate and distinct sweepstakes. Visa cardholders will be entered to win a trip to the Super Bowl XXXV when they use their Visa card at any Kroger store from September 1 - October 31.

DirectTV

Visa cardholders will be automatically entered to win when they sign up for automatic bill pay with DirecTV. Prizes include a trip to Super Bowl XXXV, $500 Visa NFL gift cards and NFL leather jackets. The promotion, which runs from June 1 - July 30, will be supported with statement inserts to current DirectTV customers and online support.

 Transit Metro Cards will be automatically entered to win a trip to Super Bowl XXXV. NYC Transit's promotion runs from October 16 through November 26. Visa will provide support to the promotion through posters, bus cards, "take-ones" online support and player appearances. Four MetroCards will feature New York City team players and will be good for discounts on NFL licensed merchandise at Modell's.

Visa NFL Sports Retailer Sweepstakes

Visa cardholders will be automatically entered to win a trip to Super Bowl XXXV and one of 100 Wilson footballs when they use their Visa cards to make purchases at over 1000 sports retailer locations nationwide. To support the promotion, Visa and the merchants will provide in-store point-of-sale signage and circular advertisements. The promotion will run from September 1 through October 31.
