``It Can Happen to Anyone'' is a 26-minute video by AARP AARP, a nonprofit, nonpartisan national organization dedicated to "enriching the experience of aging"; membership is open to people age 50 or older. Founded in 1958 by Ethel Percy Andrus as American Association of Retired Persons, AARP now has over 30 million  exploring the issues and offering help in dealing with the increasing problem of alcohol abuse among older people, now affecting nearly 3 million older Americans and growing as the population ages. Narrated by actor Edward Asner Edward Asner (born November 15, 1929) is an American actor known for his Emmy-winning role as Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and later continued in a spinoff series, Lou Grant. , the video encourages family and friends to overcome denial and embarrassment. Produced in cooperation with the Hazelden Foundation, the video kit also contains a detailed brochure on how to get help as well as a leader's guide for use in group discussions. Copies of ``It Can Happen to Anyone'' video kit are available for loan or a $20 purchase by writing to AARP Program Scheduling Office, 601 E St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20049.
