The Senior Citizen Legal Services legal services n. the work performed by a lawyer for a client.  Program of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association Lawyer Referral and Information Service offers quality legal advice to seniors, 60 years of age and older, Wednesday mornings at the Bernardi Senior Center in Van Nuys and Thursdays mornings at the Reseda Senior Center in Reseda. Legal help is offered with wills, living trusts, power of attorney, power of attorney for health care, Social Security, probate, elder law As of the early 2000s a relatively new specialty devoted to the legal issues of Senior Citizens, including estate planning, health care, , asset preservation, MediCal, landlord/tenant disputes, condominium law, family, real property, business, personal injury, insurance and bankruptcy. There is a $10 fee for an initial half-hour consultation with every client matched with an attorney qualified to answer their questions. Life writing class offers participants ages 50 and older the opportunity to write their life stories, share their joys and sorrows, as well as leave a legacy for their children and grandchildren, 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22 to March 12, Goebel Senior Adult Center, 1385 E.
