Tek-Tools, Inc., an innovative provider of extensible XML-based software solutions, today announced a reseller agreement under which StorNet, Inc., a leading nationwide provider of networked storage services, will integrate and support Tek-Tools' high-performance storage resource management (SRM) software.

"This agreement will give StorNet's entire customer base easier access to this exciting technology, helping them obtain even greater value from their investment in StorNet's storage services."

Tek-Tools' application is the industry's first 100% Web-based SRM application designed for high-performance. The product supports proactive, location-independent monitoring of storage resources across the enterprise, including DAS, NAS (1) See network access server.

Tek-Tools will be demonstrating its new application at Booth No. 7533 at NetWorld+Interop Atlanta 2001, September 11-14. The demonstration will highlight the application's support for server-attached storage supported by Solaris, NT and NetWare, as well as the monitoring of SAN equipment such as Brocade's SilkWorm silkworm, name for the larva of various species of moths, indigenous to Asia and Africa but now domesticated and raised for silk production throughout most of the temperate zone. The culture of silkworms is called sericulture. , Legato Networker and RAID arrays from several vendors.
