McDonnell Douglas McDonnell Douglas was a major American aerospace manufacturer and defense contractor, producing a number of famous commercial and military aircraft. It merged with Boeing in 1997 to form The Boeing Company.  Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Boeing (language) BOEING - An early system on the IBM 1130.

 Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $47,000,009 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract modification to provide for computer software upgrade and engineering services. This effort will support the B-1B aircraft. At this time, $25,029,544 of the funds has been obligated ob·li·gate
