Officials from Kansas Speedway and Topeka-based Protection One(NYSE NYSE

:POI) today announced a two-year partnership that will blow you away!

Protection One will sponsor the speedway's sold-out NASCAR NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing), organization that sanctions American stock-car races, est. 1948. It held its first race in Daytona Beach, Fla.  Winston Cup Series race on Sept. 30. The Protection One 400 will be broadcast live on NBC NBC
 in full National Broadcasting Co.

Major U.S. commercial broadcasting company. It was formed in 1926 by RCA Corp., General Electric Co. (GE), and Westinghouse and was the first U.S. company to operate a broadcast network.
 at noon CST. A nationwide television audience will join the nearly 100,000 fans at Kansas Speedway in watching the biggest sporting event in Kansas history.

"The Track That Will Blow You Away!" has played host this year to the ARCA RE/MAX RE/MAX Real Estate Maximums (Canada)  Series, NASCAR Winston West Series, Indy Racing Northern Light Series and Dayton Indy Lights Championship. The 2001 year culminates with the sold-out NASCAR Busch Series Mr. Goodcents 300 and NASCAR Winston Cup Series Protection One 400.
