Gemplus, the world's number one provider of smart card-based security, e-business and wireless solutions, today announced the appointment of Antonio M. Perez Antonio M. Perez is the current CEO of The Eastman Kodak Company, based in Rochester, NY. Perez has been part of Kodak since 2001. In February 2007, he led a launch event at Studio 8H in New York City to support the launch of the new Kodak EasyShare all-in-one printers supported by the  as president and chief executive officer.

Mr. Perez will lead Gemplus' global operations Global Operations is a first-person shooter computer game developed by Barking Dog Studios and published by both Crave Entertainment and Electronic Arts. Mr. Perez joins Gemplus from Hewlett-Packard, where he served as corporate executive vice president and president of the Consumer Business and Digital Media Solutions, as well as head of Hewlett-Packard Corporate Marketing Group. Mr. Perez also served on Hewlett-Packard's Executive Council.
