The Webby's, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences or IADAS was founded in 1998 in New York to help drive the progress of the Internet and evolving forms of new media. The academy selects the nominees and winners for the Webby Awards. , are divided into 27 categories including sports, news, travel, finance and politics. ESPN.com was awarded the 2000 Webby Award for sports, as voted on by a select group of industry executives, as well as the People's Voice Award, as voted by Internet users.
