BAY SHORE, N.Y.--(BW SportsWire)--July 6, 2000

Herbert J. Hefke, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of American Sports History Incorporated (the "Company") and former Managing Partner of J.P. Morgan, has announced that John Schulte, a former executive at Nike Inc., has joined the Company as Vice President of Product Development. Mr. Schulte will oversee the development and the launch of the Company's Sportsinfo.com Website. After the launch, Mr. Schulte will oversee the sales and marketing activities related to the Website.

During Mr. Schulte's fourteen years of experience in the sports and fitness industry, he focused on creating and marketing team sports products for Nike Inc., Mizuno U.S.A. Corp. and Easton Sports, Inc. Mr. Hefke commented, "We are building a management team with complimentary skills.
