CirTran Corp. (OTC Pink Sheets: CIRT) Monday announced that due to a breakdown in communication between the company and the NASD, we have been notified that the previously approved forward split went into effect as of close of business Aug. 3, and that today, Monday Aug.6, would reflect this forward split.

"We neglected to forward the pay date correctly, therefore, the delay was inevitable, it was simply an oversight that has been rectified," stated Iehab Hawatmeh, president of CirTran Corp.

All shareholders of record at the close of business Aug. 3 have received for additional consideration on Aug. 6, 2001, 14 additional shares of common stock for each share held and the shares of common stock so issued shall be, when issued, fully paid and non-assessable.
