He added a silver medal at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea and a bronze medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. Baumgartner is the only wrestler from any nation to win four Olympic medals in his career.

"Globalaxxess.com sponsored the `Night of Champions' awards ceremony to show our staunch support for the future of wrestling," said Hern. "We first became involved in the sport because of Matt Ghaffari, a key member of our business development team, who is one of the most decorated Greco-Roman wrestlers in American history. Matt's unmatched spirit and perseverance have earned him a place as an alternate at the XXVII Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia."

Thirty-eight year old Ghaffari, a father of four, is one of the most accomplished athletes in Team USA history. After a slew of amateur titles, he stepped onto the world stage when he competed with the U.S. team at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, and followed that by winning a Silver Medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

Two-time Olympian Ghaffari was vying for a spot on the U.S. Olympic team for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, but lost to Rulon Gardner, a first-time Olympian. "It's very important that people know that wrestling is just a part of me," said Ghaffari. "When I die, I don't want people to say, `He was an Olympic silver medalist.' Being a good father and provider, being a good citizen, being a community leader --- that's what's really important."
