          Webvan is the first and only shopping service that marries the

          To commemorate its first day of official service in Chicago,
        Webvan will host a kick-off celebration at its Carol Stream
        distribution center with activities including:

      --  Tours of the highly automated "Jetsons-like" distribution
        center

      --  Samplings of Webvan's chef-prepared culinary specialties

        for first "official" delivery

      --  One-on-one interview opportunities with Mr. Shaheen and other
        company executives
