Robert "Bob" Hartley (Born September 9, 1960 in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Canada) was a Canadian head coach in the National Hockey League.

 Industry's Hawkesbury, Ontario Hawkesbury is a town in Eastern Ontario on the Ottawa River, near the Quebec/Ontario border.

It lies on the south shore of the Ottawa River about halfway between downtown Ottawa and downtown Montreal in Prescott and Russell.

Hartley, a Hawkesbury native, was a cutter on the plant's production line from 1983-1987. "I had a great job with the best company," Hartley said. "Bringing the Stanley Cup to the plant is my way of thanking PPG and the workers for four great years and for all their ongoing support. I wanted to make sure every employee there has a chance to touch the Cup."

Hartley will be available for a media conference and brief photo session inside the plant before he addresses his former co-workers. Those wanting to enter plant for photos are asked to wear long pants, shirts with sleeves and covered shoes (no sandals or high heels). Appropriate safety equipment will be provided.

DATE: Tuesday, July 31
TIME: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The morning's agenda is extremely tight because the demands on the coach's time. A parade in honor of Hartley will begin at 2 p.m. in Hawkesbury.
