Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP(R)), the leading provider of outsourced payroll, human resources and benefits administration solutions, announced today the release of Pay eXpert(R), the answer to mid-market needs for a reliable and scaleable Web-based payroll solution.

Requiring only a browser, Pay eXpert provides employers with the payroll functionality they need, real-time access to payroll data, high-levels of security, virtual training and a new online customer support center. Pay eXpert will be highlighted at the American Payroll Association's Congress and Expo, March 25-29, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA.

Payroll professionals require only a browser and an Internet connection to utilize Pay eXpert's payroll functionality, employee self-service, role-based security for remote location access, and integrated HR functionality. Since ADP hosts the application, backups and upgrades are automatic and seamless to the client. Pay eXpert, part of the Cisco Powered Network(R) program, provides a secure environment through a solid security infrastructure utilizing the latest technologies in intrusion detection, data encryption and digital certificates.

Pay eXpert provides clients with a new flexible World Class Service model through its dedicated Pay eXpert support center. In addition to ADP's traditional phone support, clients can now communicate with customer service and access their open/closed inquiries via the Internet. Virtual classrooms and self-service training modules are also standard elements of the Pay eXpert service model.
